It's always exciting to be asked to do something a little out of the ordinary and last week I had the pleasure of doing just that.
I was asked by Peter Kindersley of Neal's Yard Remedies if I could make up NYR in flowers.
I embellished the letters with blue and purple flowers which I felt epitomised the iconic Neal's Yard Remedies blue bottle.
The bulk of the letters were made up of individual heads of delphinium with anenmone, lisianthus trachelium, clematis, viburnum, lavender and eucalyptus. I wanted a variety of textures and to incorporate floral elements that might actually be used in some of their products!
Caroline Gue from CP Photography photographed the letters; we used the backdrop of the recent snowfall and natural light to capture the brilliance of the colours.
I hope my floral contribution to this great British company adds a beautiful flourish to their future advertising campaigns.
